About the Event
The Kick for Cancer Kickball Tournament is a community-driven event dedicated to raising awareness and support for cancer research and those affected by the disease. Organized by Committed Citizens of Dundee (C-COD), this tournament brings people together for a day of fun, teamwork, and philanthropy, all in the name of a great cause.
At Kick for Cancer, we believe that through sports and community involvement, we can make a lasting impact in the fight against cancer. Our mission is to unite individuals, families, and local businesses to support the ongoing efforts to find a cure, provide care, and offer hope to cancer patients and their loved ones.
Tournament Details:
• Registration Fee: $200 per team (Must be registered by September 27th)
• Tournament Start: October 7th at 3:00 PM
• Games will be held every Sunday throughout October. All winners will advance to the semifinals, and the top two teams will compete in the championship.
Prizes:
• First Place: $1,500 & Trophy
• Second Place: $500 & Trophy
• Third Place: Trophy
Kickball Rules:
• 10 fielders
• 5 innings
• 2 base coaches
• “Bouncies” are allowed, but the ball must bounce at least twice before home plate
• Strike zone is 1 ft around all sides of the home plate (and above)
• You can throw a runner out, but no headshots
• One base on an overthrow
• Forced outs apply
• No ghost men allowed
